Beyond Lateral Violence: Working Together for Success
Attention: All Aboriginal Front Line Workers, Social, Health, Education and Employment Program Directors, Organization and Business Managers and Community Leaders.
We are calling on you for assistance and to join our effort of examining lateral violence and how it may be impacting the success potential of the Aboriginal community.
The Northeast Aboriginal Business Center has secured an international facilitator,
Rod Jeffries, to help a regionally formed group to: o Understand the many aspects of lateral violence
o Recognize the personal roles in lateral violence
o Address lateral violence in a healthy way
o Explore traditional values to prevent and stop lateral violence
o Maintain personal wellness in an unhealthy environment of lateral violence
Your participation in this two day strategy development session will help identify and layout a regional action plan to prevent and stop lateral violence in our Aboriginal Community.
Our office will start taking registration now; and, this two day training is limited to 35 people. Please review Rod Jeffries biography on the following page.
Please contact Char toll-free at 1 888 783 1870 and in FSJ at 250 785 1870 if you would like more information and to register. You can also email us at office@neabc.ca. We will also be making effort to contact your office as a follow up to this notice.
We look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Northeast Aboriginal Business Centre
